The house
Casa Miradouro stacks the same rooms on three levels. The ground floor is one open room for cooking, eating and living, with a guest toilet by the entrance and the stair tucked into the back wall. Because the house takes up less of the plot, the garden around it is larger.
Upstairs, two bedrooms of equal size face the garden through large square windows and share a bathroom on the landing. The roof floor is an open studio with a window at each gable, far enough from the living room to work in peace. Downstairs, the whole back wall of the living room is glass and slides open onto the terrace and plunge pool.
